From the Rakett Archive #1

X1_IMG_0996_webDuring a period of three weeks, September 20th to October 13th 2007, Rakett hosted Curating Degree Zero Archive, a project by Dorothee Richter and Barnaby Drabble. In Bergen, CDZA was presented as a platform, a temporary home for a program by Rakett, which aimed to contribute to a discourse around the expanding field of art and curatorial collaborative practices. A series of events the archive was activated with presentations, lectures, debates and concerts with invited international guests: artists, curators, musicians, philosophers and architects. Full program here.
Curating Degree Zero was launched to research, present and discuss changes in the practice of freelance curators, artist-curators, new-media curators and curatorial collaborations.
