February 2009 - Sørfinnset Skole / the nord land

Ski-In Cinema

The midnight sun is still far away from Gildeskål, but in the darkness of the cinema dreams do come true. The out-door cinema has become a tradition at Sørfinnset skole/the nord land. This is the third time Rakett (Åse Løvgren and Karolin Tampere) takes a trip to the north during wintertime, to keep us warm with action and hi-ho on the schoolyard.

There will be a rich film-program with Industry as a central cue. There will be drama, dance, speed, drudgery and proletarian magic. To gain even more heat, apart from the movies that glow, there will be a fireplace, a lavvu and the tent sauna. A soup will be served and the barbeque is hot. Bring your skies, something for the bbq, drinks, warm clothes, something to sit on, and everything is going to be just fine. (Announcement text by Geir Tore Holm, translated by Karolin Tampere)
