MC Messa was inititated as an art fair for artists-run spaces and galleries that aimed to gather and showcase the young Norwegian art scene. Rakett used the occasion to raise questions around production and display as well as looked into some processes of artistic practices and methods. In collaboration with Søssa Jørgensen from Ballongmagasinet, Rakett initiated Radio Kongo – Studio Stand.

This was a live radio studio which presented a radio program consisting of a combination of live interviews and pre-recorded material. The radio was live-transmitted through FM waves inside the building of the art fair.

This Studio Stand, was a studio-satellite to Radio Kongo, which is the local radio, FM broadcasted in the village of Sørfinnset, Gildeskål in the north of Norway. This local radio is still active and part of Sørfinnset Skole/the nord land. Which is an ongoing art and ecology project run since 2003 by Jørgensen and Geir Tore Holm in collaboration with a group of artists and locals.
